I’ve been on a roll making granny squares lately and wanted to share some of my creations as well as some fabulous patterns I’ve found online!
Sunburst Granny Square
The Sunburst Granny Square pattern featured on SIBOL is not only beautiful but very versatile. With round or square finishing options, one can make anything from a simple coaster to a gorgeous handbag such as the one I recently made above.
I used this granny square pattern from Yarning to create my Granny Square Wristlets featured here:
African Flower Hexagon/Pentagon
The African Flower Hexagon and Pentagon by Heidi Bears Creative are absolutely beautiful as are the stuffed bears she makes out of them. I used the pattern to make more fun wristlets!
Vintage Daisy Motif
Another “granny square” pattern I’ve found online but have yet to try out is the Vintage Daisy Motif at Speckless. Be sure to check out the gorgeous afghan featured on her page, which although created with a flower loom, could be recreated with this beautiful pattern.
