It’s been a while since my last post – I’ve been working tirelessly on inventory needed to launch my Etsy shop, such as baby blankets, shawls, hats, bags and home accessories. Not only have I put a lot of thought into which items I most enjoy making, but those that will also be most profitable. It’s been helpful to consider the amount of time put into each piece in relation to the price point in determining which pieces are most practical to make for resale.
I look forward to making an announcement once the shop is launched. In the meantime, I’ve posted a new scarf/shawl pattern – enjoy! (Pattern below)
Convertible Scarf/Shawl Pattern
Yarn of your choice, approximately 1 large skein (7oz/364yd)
Row 1 – DC in 8th chain from hook, turn
Row 2 – Ch 7, SC in chain space, Ch 4, DC in 3rd Ch of beginning Ch, turn
Row 3 – Ch 7, *Sc in next Ch 4 Sp, Ch 4, Repeat from * across, DC in 3rd Ch of beginning Ch, turn
Repeat Row 3 until piece reaches desired size
